Welcome to the webpage for the Council of Presbytery of the Inland Northwest.  We are composed of the chairpersons of our committees.  Our chairperson is Richard Welch who can be reached at (509) 276-6936.  We meet four times a year about six weeks prior to a Presbytery meeting.

 

Our responsiblities ae to coordinate the work of the Presbytery, nominate persons to fill vacancies on the Presbytery's Nominating Committee, review proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and assign them to appropriate committees for their recommendations to the Council which shall be incorporated in its report to the Presbytery, and review all proposed changes to the Standing Rules and make recommendations on them to the Presbytery.
