A message from our Executive Presbyter, Sheryl Kinder-Pyle…….
I am so grateful that you blessed me with the opportunity to ReNEW my soul, ReCONNECT with family, and ReTOOL for my next season of service in the PIN! I also was blessed to receive a Louisville Institute grant which along with the presbytery’s support will cover the expenses and has helped shape my study, Missional Mid-Council Leadership Project.
What Did I Want to Know?
I explored the question: What kind of leadership at the judicatory is needed for missional transformation? My study analyzed what specific leadership capacities are essential for creating an environment that fosters a missional understanding and encourages an adaptive approach to the challenges we face.
How?
I gathered data through short surveys, video interviews, face to face interviews and ministry context observations in a variety of denominational settings in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.
