Love is Stronger than Hate

On October 30th, EP Sheryl Kinder-Pyle joined others from the region at Temple Beth Shalom in Spokane to take a stand against anti-semitism, bigotry, racism, and hate. Specifically, this vigil took place in light of the shooting at the deadly attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh on October 27, 2018.

Here are Sheryl’s thoughts after attending the vigil:

Last night was a powerful night in a sacred space. Thanks to all who could be there and those who were there in spirit. We joined with hundreds of others from the Spokane region to stand against anti-semitism, bigotry, racism and hate. Scott Starbuck spoke representing the Christian community. Here is his manuscript.

Here also is a statement from faith leaders and leaders of conscience of Eastern Washington and North Idaho, which Pamela Starbuck helped to shape.
